Sicily is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations of the world with a tropical climate and full of sunshine. It is a must go tourist island which has multiple beaches and many ancient sites to visit on. Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean sea and on of the 20 regions of Italy which is located on the souther part of Italy.

Sicilian restaurants serve Sicilian dishes which are delicious and historic foods and those who love to eat will enjoy them very well.

Sicilian cuisine shows traces of all the cultures which established themselves on the island of Sicily over the last two millennia.[1] Although its cuisine has much in common with Italian cuisine, Sicilian food also has Spanish, Greek and Arab influences.The Catanese dish, pasta alla Norma, is among Sicily's most historic and iconic.

The Sicilian food culture is quite interesting when it is served and A good meal begins with a starters and finishes with a desert of fruits.

  6. Main dish After the pasta, the typical Sicilian menu includes a second or main dish (secondi) based on meat or fish. Main dishes based on seafood are couscous al pesce and pesce spada alla ghiotta (Swordfish).

  11. Wines and drinks The drink most often served with the main meal in Sicily is wine. Sicilian red wines are usually drunk in the evening with roast or grilled meat. Well-known red wines include the Cerasuolo di Vittoria and the Nero d'Avola, mainly those produced around Noto (Siracusa). The dry and white wines are mainly consumed with fish, poultry and pasta dishes. Sicily is also known for producing dessert wines, such as Marsala and the Malvasia delle Lipari.
